AUSTIN CHAPTER

The Austin Chapter of the Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT - Austin) is a diverse community of structural engineers working in the academic, design, and construction industries. Our aim is to implement the mission and goals of SEAoT including the promotion of professional development, relationships between industry, academia, and the public, and involvement with other industry and governmental organizations.

SEAoT - Austin holds regular monthly luncheon meetings with guest speakers discussing a wide array of topics covering structural engineering materials, practices, and research.

Note: MCC no longer allows food in our new larger room 3.104. If you
plan to bring your lunch please eat before the program at the tables on
the first floor area of MCC. There is no food available at MCC.

The Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation Building is
located at the southwest corner of Braker Lane at Mopac, across from the
main Pickle Research Campus (Park anywhere - Use south building
entrance)


Seminars are held periodically which delve deeper into the more technical aspects of structural analysis and design. These activities are open to all interested parties. An annual social event is held each Fall to prove that engineers know how to shake things up a bit.
