of Texas (SEAoT), the largest and most active Association of registered
structural engineers and allied professionals in Texas, is a non-profit
organization founded in 1983 for the benefit of the structural engineering
community, including structural engineers, university faculty members,
students, and associates involved in the design, fabrication and
construction of structures.
Chapters Across Texas
The Association has seven active chapters - Austin,
Corpus Christi, El Paso, Fort Worth, Houston/Gulf Coast,
Dallas and San Antonio. Chapters
hold regular meetings at which topics of professional interest are
presented and discussed. In addition, the Association holds an annual
two-day Conference in the Fall. SEAoT members and other structural
engineers are welcome at these meetings.

Membership offers numerous
benefits to professional structural engineers, as well as the associated
engineering professions, engineering companies, contractors, university
professors, and engineering students. Professional presentations,
technical publications, forums, conferences, advisory meetings with
the State Board of Registered Professional Engineers, and personal
