ANNUAL STATE CONFERENCE

The 2013 State Conference will be held in El Paso October 24-26, 2013 - at the WYNDHAM AIRPORT HOTEL. Hosted by the El Paso Chapter, the three-day event will offer 12-14 Professional Development Hours, with presentations by leaders in structural engineering. There will be space to accommodate up to 40 exhibitors and ample networking opportunities.

In addition to technical sessions that will cover the latest concepts and techniques for the design, evaluation and construction of buildings and bridges, exhibitors will be displaying cutting edge technologies and products, ranging from design software to inventions for the construction industry. This event is a once-a-year opportunity for SEAoT members to expand their engineering knowledge, learn about the latest construction techniques and interact with peers.

The technical session will include industry leaders from a diverse range of backgrounds in designing structures. Topics will include the design of super-tall structures, analysis of structures in seismic zones, quality control in the consulting office, analysis of bridge structures and other key topics.

In addition to the main the conference, there will be the traditional golf tournament held at one of sunny El Paso's best courses, a companions' program with an array of interesting activities, and several evening events that will include a dinner and a trip to the heart of nightlife in downtown El Paso.
