Corpus Christi

This year’s State Conference, the highlight of the Association's annual activities, will be held in the beautiful resort town of Corpus Christi, at the Omni Bayfront Hotel - just fifteen minutes from the airport and overlooking the Corpus Christi bay.
This is a must attend event for all Structural Engineers in Texas and offers a convenient and enjoyable way to meet your license requirements, while hearing about the latest technology, code changes, materials, design approaches, and other factors influencing our the profession.

Registration includes: the Conference program, the Icebreaker Social, continental breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday, refreshment breaks, and the Saturday tour. Attendees can expect to accumulate 10-12 PDHs during the Conference.

SEAoT Member rate: $275.00 by September 29,2010, $300 after Sept. 29, 2010
Non Member rate: $385.00 by September 29, 2010; $410 after Sept. 29, 2010.

Note that non members opting to join SEAoT in order to take advantage of the member rate are encouraged to join early, as it can take up to two weeks for member applications to be approved.
All registration for the Conference will be handled online through the SEAoT website.

The tentative program of events includes:

Thursday October 21 - Golf tournament, State board meeting and evening Icebreaker Social with exhibitors.
Friday October 22 - Full day program followed by an optional evening banquet and awards ceremony.
Saturday October 23 - Half-day program followed by tour of the new Wind Tunnel.

A companion's program is also being planned. Cost is $100 per participant.

Golf Tournament - Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday October 21, at the NorthShore Country Club. Shotgun start is 8:00 AM. Cost is $100 per player. This championship links style course features golfing along the shores of Corpus Christi Bay, reminescent of the many famous ocean front golf courses in the US.

Banquet
An elegant sit-down banquet is planned for the evening of Friday October 22nd and will include a speaker, awards, Hall of Honor recognition, etc.
This is an optional event. Cost is $60.00 per person to cover food and service.

Hotel Accommodation
The Omni Bayfront Hotel, located at 900 North Shoreline Boulevard, is a four-diamond hotel offering spectacular views of the Corpus Christi Bay.
